I am a Christian, Husband, Daddy, and Business Owner.  I am trying to be obedient and follow the calling my Father God has placed on my life.  I have been called to challenge the Church; systematically and on an individual level.  This is an exciting, yet scary calling.

1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always [be] ready to [give] a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.”

Increasingly, Christians are being challenged with our beliefs and increasingly many of our members and institutions are powerless in their response or action.  I know this first hand, as I was one of these Christians most of my life.  The time  has come for us to challenge and exhort each other to strength and true dependence upon God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

We ARE under attack!  1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. ”  We need to train and be prepared for our adversary, our opponent, our enemy.  We cannot take him lightly, or underestimate his power and willingness to destroy us.  We NEED to prepare for The Ultimate Competition between good and evil.  I pray we know or find out what it means to be ZEALOUS for the Lord God.
